We are looking for a Junior Content Creator & Videographer to join our team and assist with creating photo and video content across our brands. This role is ideal for a creative individual at the start of their career who is passionate about visual storytelling, content creation and digital media, and who is looking to grow their skills within the architecture, interior design and construction industry.

Job Overview

The Junior Content Creator & Videographer will be responsible for capturing and producing photo and video content for use across social media, websites and marketing campaigns. The role will involve working closely with the marketing team to create content that showcases our products, projects, installations and brand story in a visually compelling way.

This is a full-time, in-house role based in Johannesburg and will involve visiting showrooms, project sites and other locations to capture content.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture photo and video content of products, showroom spaces, installations and completed projects
• Film showroom & project walkthroughs, site progress and behind-the-scenes content
• Create short-form video content for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
• Edit photos and videos for use across social media, websites and marketing campaigns
• Assist with content planning, ideas and concept development
• Ensure all content aligns with each brand’s identity and visual style
• Organise and manage content files and media libraries
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute content strategies
• Visit sites, suppliers and project locations to capture content when required
• Stay up to date with social media, video and content trends

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in photography and videography
• Basic experience in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar)
• Basic experience in photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop or similar)
• Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• A portfolio of previous work (student work, personal projects or freelance work accepted)
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Valid driver’s licence is advantageous

Additional Responsibilities & Growth Opportunity

As this role forms part of a growing company, there may be periods where content creation work is lighter. During these times, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of the business, including showroom operations, product knowledge, project processes and basic sales support.

This may include:

• Assisting in the showroom when required
• Learning about products and materials
• Assisting with basic sales administration or client enquiries
• Visiting sites with the sales or project team
• Gaining exposure to how projects are quoted, supplied and managed
